Life changing decisions....

It has been a little over a week now since we have recieved our life changing news.  We may have a chance to adopt a baby..  :)  Here goes.
Last Tuesday, December 21, 2010, about 9p.m., I recieved a phone call from my cousin.  She informed me she had just left Tuscaloosa DCH with our cousins baby.  She had gotten the phone call from DHR about Fostering baby Caleb.  When he was born just 4 days earlier, he had several different drugs in his system.  When it had came time for the parents to take him home from the hospital, they were drug tested and of cource they failed it.  :(   Therefore DHR was called.  Needless to say, Victoria took him so he didn't have to go into a strangers home because he was our family.
Other than Caleb being a drug baby, he is also a dwarf.  Because of his mothers choice of drugs he will have this life long problem.  Caleb is still having withdrawals from the drugs his "birth  mother" pumped into his system, which is sooo sad.  :(  I just don't understand how a mother can do that to their baby..  :(
So now Joseph and I are in a horrible place for decisions.  We have been being told how they are wanting us to adopt this baby and how they know how God has put Caleb on Earth for us.  Now, they are changing their minds.  We are soo upset.  I have decided on other plans.  :(  Oh well.

Pepperoni Rolls...

A few of my friends and I have what we call a "girls day" each week either on a Tuesday or Thursday and we swap times to cook. This week was my time. I decided to make some homemade pepperoni rolls. I thought I would take the time to show you how I make those. :)

PREHEAT OVEN 325

Ingredients:
-1 pk Rhodes Frozen Dinner Rolls
-2 pk Pepperoni Rolls
-1 pk Mozerella Cheese
-Crisco

Directions:
U wanna get two big baking dishes and rub CRISCO all over the sides and bottom of the pans.  When that is done, take out your RHODES FROZEN DINNER ROLLS.  Place the rolls in those pans with enough room for the bread to rise as they thaw.  When you get them all  nicely layered in the pans, u want to take just a little bit of CRISCO and put on the top of the rools like shown below.  Not to much..
When they rolls have finally thawed, remove all plastic wrap.  U can make them 1 of 2 different ways.  One being take two rolls and mash together as you see in the next picture or just mash out one roll.  Two just makes it a bigger roll.  LOTS BIGGER TO BE EXACT..  lol  After making it look like a small pizza crust, lay it out on a cutting board.
Add your desired amount of pepperoni.  I put 4-6 pieces on mine.  It really depends on how many I'm making and how much stuffing I got.  :)

Next, add your cheese.  U can put as much or as little as you would like.  Me, I like BUNCHES..  Be careful not to add to much because your dough will not stay closed in the oven as it cooks.  I guess I should have also take a few pics of me rolling them because their really is a special technique to also making them look like a "Pizza Roll".  lol  Anyway, just take the right side and the left side and fold into the middle.  Take the bottom and roll toward the tip.  Pick up and finish rolling until completely closed.  When you get them wrapped, just put back into baking pans, sheets...et.  Make sure they are all greased up with the crisco.  Cook on 350 for 20 to 25 minutes.  Remember, ovens do vary.
When rolls are done, they should look like this.  HUGE and golden brown.  lol  They are even still delicious warmed in the microwave.  HEHE!

HOPE YOU WILL TRY MY RECIPE.  I WAS TAUGHT THIS BY MY SISTER-IN-LAW AND THEY WILL LITERALLY MELT IN YOUR MOUTH.

Shopping...A girls FAVORITE pastime. :)

I am soo excited to now have a friend that has the same love for animals as I do.  Christy dosen't have children either...Just some "furbabies".  2 to be exact.  She came to the house today and totally fell inlove with my baby girl.  :)

After taking the first pic Christy said,"Take a picture of her giving me love"!!  Isn't it soo sweet?  HEHE!!!

I went shopping with a new friend today, Christy Wise.  It was sooo much fun.  Little did I know I was gonna recieve some CHRISTmas gift today.  Christy took me to Ulta and bought me an awsome thing of eye shadow and brushes.  I was/am sooo excited but I would have NEVER spent that much on makeup...ESPECIALLY on two things.  lol  ANYWAY, I have a Yorkie and she has 2 Pugs and we were on the prowl of shopping for our "furbabies"  We wasn't in much luck.  I only found Maggie 3 toys and a few bags of treats.  Christy only got a few bags of treats.  We hope to find more b4 christmas.

SNOW...Inside???

When Joseph and I came home from work yesterday, this is what we found.  2 1/2 rolls of toilet paper destroyed thoughout our livingroom and kitchen.  Little Miss Maggie Mae had her a blast im assuming.  lol
Obviously she wasn't through because she was playing in it while her daddy was cleaning it up.  He wasn't a happy camper either.  He wanted to spank her but, of course, Mommy didn't allow that.  :)
Look going into the kitchen.  Just a mess.  I know I probably should have let him spank her but I can't stand it.  She's my angel and I don't like to hurt her feelings and that's exactly what would have happened.
I don't think you see a smile on Joseph face.  He was ready to beat her by the time this mess was all cleaned up.  Bless her little heart.  Now on this next ordeal, I came very close to spanking her.  She destroyed my rug.  My personally made rug.  UGH!!
Just look at that.  If she tares up something else like this she will her her butt spanked.  I sat her down and told her her consequences of doing this again.  :)

Giuliana & Bill Rancic.

I absolytely LOVE watching Giuliana and Bill Rancic. I feel as if I can relate to them eventhoug I haven't been through IVF. I am a little behid on the episodes but Im now catching up. Im gonna talk about last week and this week all in one blog entry.

Week of December 6th, 2010:
Every week my husband and I tune into Bill and Guiliana on The Style Network, and this week as usual did not disappoint. I have said it so many times, but I just LOVE them! They are so cute together and are just a great couple. I have to say kudos to Bill for that ring he got Guiliana, it was amazing! I believe I would have acted the same way she did when recieving the ring. :) The cake looked soo good I wish I could have went in the tv and got a piece. HEHE!!!! In this episode Guiliana and Bill have decided to move forward and do a second round of IVF, and she also had to break to news of her miscarriage to the public. I could only imagine what she is going through. I have cried and pleaded many of times for God to answer my prayers of becomming a mother as well as Giulianna. :( It's soo sad.

Week of December 13th, 2010

The Rancic's were on last night and the episode starts with them starting their shots for their second IVF cycle. Giuliana is talking about planning a baby shower for her BFF/manager. While she is talking about it, Bill is getting the 1st shot ready which is starting to make Giuliana sick..lol I haven't ever done the IVF thing, but with me being a diabetic I have to give myself shots. It's not easy. Sticking that needle in your stomach isn't fun. :( I loved watching Giuliana shop for the baby shower and gifts. VERY emotional for her. She is soo brave setting aside her emotions while she is struggling to get prego herself. Watching her Rancic on that table being emotional is making me sooo sad, not only for myself, but also for her. I hope this is the last treatment for her and she gets prgo. Got high hopes for you girl.

Cannon Rebel XS. :)

Yeah, you read right. I finally got my camera I blogged about a few weeks ago. It's awsome. Im kinda slow at learning things so it's gonna take me a little while to learn how to work all the contraptions that comes on the camera.  This is what it looks like.  AWSOME...HUH???  HEHE!
I absolutely LOVE it.  I have wanted one for a very long time and I finally have one.

Yea, you are probably thinking what I was thinking...HOLY HANNAH!!  lol  It's soo nice and I can't believe I finally have it.  MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ME FROM MY WONDERFUL HUSBAND!!

Maggie's 6month Birthday. :)

Happy 6 month Birthday to my baby girl Maggie Mae.  I can't believe she is at the 1/2 way mark from being 1 year old.  :(  We have only had her for 4 months so there were 2 months we missed out on.  She is definitely one spoiled little girl whom I LOVE with all my heart.  I honestly don't believe I could love her anymore if she were my fles and blood daughter.  :)
Happy Birthday Maggie Mae....  Mommy and Daddy loves you uncondirionally!!!

Joseph took this pic of her.  She loves her daddy so much and no matter what she's doing she always has
                                                                       one eye on him.  :)
Mommy was posing her for pics.  Bless her heart, she gets sick of it but she still does a great job.  All she has to do is look at the camera because she is sooo beautiful.

I love this.  She was playing with the little bush out in the back yard.  LOVE IT!

Joseph was bound and determined to let maggie go out and play in the snow.  So, I put her CHRISTmas sweater and her jacket on and opened the front door.  She took off running and looked soooo precious.  HEHE!!!

Mommy's girl was sleeping in my lap.  This is one of her Christmas shirts.

MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM THE TANNERS....Joseph, Katie, & Maggie Tanner!!  :)

CHRISTmas around my house"2010"

Christmas time is my favorite time of the year. Theirs lots of family get-togethers and some cold days. :) I have taken a few pics of my favorite Christmas Tree and the ornaments on my tree and thought I would
                                                                   share them with ya.
I finally got the kind of Christmas tree I wanted this year.  YEAH!!  The tall skinny one.  That's actually all the room I have for it.  lol  I love snowmen.  I've never really been the type to spend a good bit of money on decorating my tree but this year since I have a JOB, I decided to go all out.  It's still NOT finished but I hope to catch some good deals after Christmas.  My tree has always been decorated in red and gold but this year I decided to add some green.  It's pretty to me.
My tree skirt.  I fell in love with this one in the Home Interriors book.  It was $50.  OMG!!  I just couldn't pay that so I left it be.  Well, the next time I spoke with my Consultant, she informed me it was 50% off.  $25....That was still more than I had anticipted paying but I wasn't passing that up so I ordered it.

I love Thomas Kincaid.  I have a few of his CHRISTmas ornaments on my tree.  They are soo hommie
                                                                              feeling.  :)
This ornament was one my husband's cousin gave us on our first Christmas after getting married.  It says,
"Our 1st Christmas 2006"!  I LOVE it and it's on the front of our tree each year.
My Maggie Mae.   She is now on my tree.  I hope each year to add a new photo of her to the tree.  She is
                                                                       Mommy's angel.
I honestly can't tell ya where I got this ornament but I loved it when I saw it.  It's a nice and shiny piece to the
                                                                                tree.
Candy wrapped ornaments...LOVE IT!!  I just had to buy this one last year at WalMart when I saw it.  To cute.

My sister gave me this one last year.  It says..."God made us FAMILY Hearts made us FRIENDS"..

Here we go with another Thomas Kincaide ornament.  These are the only 2 I have but hope to have more
soon.  To me, they light up my tree with warmth.  :)
Last but NOT least...The ornament I bought to honor my late Brother Jason each year.  I was looking to purchase something and came accross this one at the Hallmark store.  It's really nothing extravagant, but to me, it means soo much.  It's a BROTHER ornament.  It says, "A brother is a TRUE friend from day ONE until the very end."  That was sooo true.  I loved my brother and was soo close with him until the VERY end.  I miss him so much and during the Holiday's it is sooo hard to make it though without him.
These are some lighted Christmas presents I bought at the DG.  LOVE them.  I used to sit them by the tree but Maggie things they are toys so I had to get them off the floor.  HEHE!

An old fashoned house I saw in the Home Interriors book I thought I HAD to have.  lol

Our Snowman Stocking holder.  These were on sale from $30 a piece to $15 a piece from Home Interriors as well.

Here is Maggie's stocking.  I just bought it at the WONDERFUL Target.  Love that store.
Well, I guess that's all the Christmas decor at my house.  I hope you enjoyed looking at all my things because I sure have enjoyed decorating.  Hope you all have a MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

December....

Well, it is already December 2010. Can you believe it. I can still sit here and remember things in March and April like it was just yesterday. HEHE!
Anyway, Im hopeing and praying I am able to get my car fixed ASAP! I was backed into this past weekend at a friends house. It didn't really hurt my car to bad but It done around $1,000.00 worth of damage so it's enough to habe fixed in my eyes. The girl that hit me was my friend but she is now so mad at me because her insurance is gonna go up $15 a month. Oh well...If it would have been me to hit her she would want me to have her car fixed aswell. Im just still soo upset about this whole ordeal but oh well. Life goes on.
Well on a better note...What are you guys wanting for christmas. What I would love more than anything is to be able to tell everyone, "IM PREGNANT" but that's not gonna happen. :( I have done really good here lately with not being soo down and depressed but today has been soooo hard. I have been following a girl through blogger from her first IVF, negative pregnancy test, finding out she was prego, through her pregnancy, and today I saw where she has her baby over the weekend. I am soo proud for her and soo thankful that eventhough this baby is 2 months early, he is pretty healthy and so is mommy. Looking at the pics of her holding her first born son and all just put me back into the loaning for my own baby. :( Her describing how emotional and extremly happy her hubby is makes me soo sad for my husband. It looks like I will NEVER be able to make him that happy.
