Mail Time. :)

I was soo excited to come home from work today and check the mail. I just knew there wasn't gonna be anything good in there but low and behold was I WRONG!! I had 2 prizes.. Maggie's dress was one of them.

It is soo cute.  I can't wait to dress her up in it.  :))

The second prize is her "Stars and Stripes"  pearls from Pearls for Paws.

I just love it.  Maggie will be patriotic for the 4th this weekend.  :))
Also in the package was a note from Frani and a little bag of 2 treats from Lola's(Frani's Yorkie) favorite bakery in her home town.  Maggie loved it.  Maggie sure was a lucky girl today with her prizes.  She is wating on about 3 more in the mail.  :))  I do believe I am way more excited than she is.  lol

Maggie's new prizes. :)

I'm loving this new dress for Maggie.  Her's will look exactly like this except where the white ribbon is it will be HOT pink.  It's now on it's way here and I can't wait to pose Maggie in it.  HEHE!

OUR LITTLE PATRIOT "MAGGIE MAE TANNER" HAS A VERY SPECIAL "STARS & STRIPES" NECKLACE ON ITS WAY TO HER FOR THE 4TH OF JULY!!! THIS IS MAGGIE'S 2ND SET OF PEARLS FROM "PEARLS FOUR PAWS"......MAGGIE MAE IS A LUCKY LUCKY GIRL!!!

This is Maggie's new pearl necklace that's on it's way for this weekend's 4th of July Holiday.  Not only will she be able to wear it each year for the 4th, she can also wear it for Memorial Day and Labor Day each year.  So, I wasn't to worried about paying the price for it.  She will get a good bit of use of it.  I want her to have pne for each holiday. That's my goal.  :)  I'm really wanting a red and green one for Christmas.  :)

Also, I have a friend I met on FB that has 3 little precious girl Yorkies. Their names are Angel, Annabelle, and Abby. ADORABLE.  Here are a few pictures of them and how sweet they are.
This is Abby, Angel, and Annabelle.  Aren't they precious???  I sure think so.

Here they are again.  I love them little girls.
Anyway, their sweet mommy is senging Maggie some sweet little gifts including: 2 bottles of the Bubbles and Beads shampoo, some Pet Health and Pet magic, several hairbows and a littel dress. All these suprises just for my Sweet Maggie. How could I NOT be on cloud 9 right now. It makes me soo happy to have met these "Yorkie Mom's" online because none of my other friends ever even want to be around Maggie muchless give her a prize. It's ok though cause they have their own children and don't have time for "dogs"!

On a better note, I have also got the ATeam girls a prize to. I made them a picture frame.  Hear it is.  The green insert can be removed and a real picture added.  I sure hope they like it.  I am debating on weather or not I should paint their names on it or not.  I'm just affraid I'm gonna mess it up if I do.  :(

Needless to say, I am waiting on some really good prizes in the mail this week.  I can't wait for them either.  I hope I get then all fast but then again I hope I don't get them all at once so I can still have something to look forward to.  :)

Lake June 25 2011

The past few days I have been pretty busy. I worked the whole weekend but still had loads of fun.  Saturday after work, we loaded up and went to the lake. We had a blast.

Me and my Bug in the lake.  She is a nut.

Look at that tan line.  She is always so dang dark in the summer time.  lol

Gena and I watching Michael grill.  lol

Joe, Hannah Bug, and I.  We were worn out after comming back from riding bicycles.  When Joseph and I get our bikes, we will definitely have to get HUGE seats. lol

The 2 bugs.  :)

We were supposed to camp with them but I had to work Sunday so we had to come back home late that night.  We are planning a camping trip sometime soon.  Unfortunately, we don't have a camper.  Joseph and I will be for real camping in our tent where it only has enought room for the air mattress.  Jessica and them have the luxury of the airconditioning.  lol  Lucky Dogs.  :))
Sunday, I worked in the deli to help get ready for our monthly inventory.  I helped Kim get ready for the Deli inventory and she was supposed to help me today.  She didn't help me not one bit which aggravated me to no end.  I can understand that her help called in this morning so she had to pick up her slack but I was still mad.  lol  Thats ok.  I had Greg to help me.  I sure do love Greg and IDK what I would do without him at work.  I am so upset he goes on vacation the week of the 8th.  :(  He's a great work partner.  I am off tomorrow.  Thank God.  Not sure what I'm gonna do yet.  My options are as followed: Be lazy in the pool all day OR go to town.......Not sure.  :)

How I spent my off day!!

Spent the day with this little girl.  We played and snuggled all day.  She is the best baby girl ever.

By now you know I love to take pictures...Espeically of this litte one.  :))  I was folding up her clothes to put back into this basket but look who decided to get in it instead.  HEHE!

She is a mess but yet soo precious.  I love her way more than I EVER thought I would love an animal.  Don't know what I ever done b4 getting her and sure don't know what I would do without her.

Such a cutie pootie!  Just precious.

This is just adorable.  I love looking at her name...Maggie Mae Tanner!  Yep, that's my girl.  :)

Just for the Paws.. :))

I entered Maggie into a Purrs & Paws Fashion contest.  Maggie didn't win a place but she did win Admins choice.  She is still such a beautiful girl.  This is her cirtificate of winning.  I printed it and gonna put it in her scrapbook.

I found this on another friends FB page.  I loved it and had to share it with ya.  :)

More on the creative side...

I have finished my projects for the time being.  Here they are:

This piece is to accomadate Jeslyn and Hannah's bathroom.  Jeslyn's bedroom is in HOT pink and zebra and now Hannah is wanting to do her room in LIME green and zebra. So, I decided to make this with a the extra stuff I had.  Turned out pretty good I think.

Jeslyn's finished hairbow holder.  It turned out better than I had thought.  Joseph drew her initials and then drew zebra print inside them.  To cute.  :)

My favorite part.  Their picture frames.  I love them.  All they need now is the pictures in them and to either hang on the wall or sit up somewhere.

This one here belongs to my Hannah Bug.  I hope she loves it.  Her favorite color is LIME green.  :))  My baby girl has turned into a big girl now.

I have several more ideas for their bedrooms.  My problem right now is finding some lime green ribbon.  I'm guessing I need to go to a fabric store for then.  This is when I need Hobby Lobby..  My favorite store that got blown away in T-Town.  :((

Remembering the "Golden Days"...

Sometimes, I sit back and just think about the "Golden Days." The days where I felt as if my whole world sucked. Little did I know, those were some of the best days of my life. I have been wanting to watch some of my "golden day's" cartoons. One of wich to be:

The Beauty and the Beast. I loved that movie. Watched it a million times.

Matilda.  OMGoodness, one of my BFF's used to watch this movie just about every time I spent the night with her.  If I had it, I would prolly still watch it some.  It's pretty good.  I'm very said it's not on Netflix.  :((

Alice in Wonderland.  I used to watch this show every morning while eating breakfast b4 going to school.  I guess I was in 2nd or 3rd grade.  It was way different than the ones they show now a days.

Lamb Chop.  This is another one I would watch eatch morning b4 going to school.  I miss all these shows.
Brady Bunch.  I still watch this show eventhough I have already saw every episode a million times.  It never gets old to me.

Good ole faithfull Barney, BabyBop, and Bj.  This cartoon was right up there for my #1 favorite.  When I babysat for 3 years, I would always curl up and watch this one with the boys.  :))  Guess it's the kid in me.

These are just a few of the ones I loved to watch.  Looks like I need to make my way to the movie store and rent a few. HEHE!  Especially Matilda.  Would love to have my own move of this one.  :)

Feeling a little bit crafty today.. HEHE!

Well, I don't want to sit here and act like I am a creative person because I am not. lol I have saw all kinds of things and I think to myself, "I bet I could make that. Oh man, I want one of those for Maggie but I am not paying that much for it!!!" Well, I broke down and tried to make her something I have wanted to buy her for a long time now. IDK what it's called, but it's a thing that hangs on the door or the wall to hang little kinds/dogs hairbows on. Od course it's done in hot pink and zebra.
I thought it turned out pretty good for my first time to ever make something like this. I love it anyway. lol I will have to post a pic soon of it full of her hairbows. :))

I am in the process of making two of my nieces one to. Jeslyn's is zebra and HOT pink aswell but it looks totally different and bigger than Maggies. Joseph asked me how come I made Maggie's ugly and Jeslyn's pretty? I think Maggies is pretty to but I have to agree Jeslyn's is much prettier.

I just had to take a pic of them both together.  Jeslyn's does look so much better but remember Maggie's was my very first one.

Can't wait to start on Hannah's.  Don't got the stuff for her's yet because IDK what she is about to decorate her bedroom in.  Just have to wait and see on her's.  :)

:)))

When I got off work, I had a text message on my iPhone stating,"Have I ever told you that you have the most beautiful eyes in the world? Would you like to go out and eat with me tonight? I have been wanting to ask you out for a long time but didn't think you felt like it since you have been working all the time." Wonder who that was from??? My wonderful husband. Sometimes just the little things in life are what means the most. :)

Daughter to Undergo transplant of Mom's womb...

Sara Ottosson, 25, of Stockholm, Sweden, could be the first woman to give birth to a baby using the same womb in which she was conceived and carried to term.
Ottosson, who was born without a uterus, will undergo an experimental procedure to have her mother's uterus transplanted into her, according to a BBC News report.
"It's the only way my daughter can have a child by herself," Eva Ottosson, Sara's 56-year-old mother, told BBC News. Eva Ottoson agreed to donate her uterus in hopes that her daughter could one day give birth.
Sara Ottosson has Mayer Rokitanksy Kuster Hauser syndrome, a rare genetic disorder characterized by an undeveloped or absent vagina, and an absent uterus. The syndrome affects one out of nearly 5,000 births, according to the Magic Foundation.
Women who live with the syndrome generally adopt or undergo surrogacy to start a family.
Researchers from Sweden approached the mother and daughter about undergoing the experimental procedure, she said.
Ottosson admitted she initially thought the procedure was bizarre. But now, she and her daughter both see it as they would any other organ transplant.
"We thought, yeah, let's go for it," she told BBC News.
While this is not the first attempt at a human uterus transplant, none have resulted in successful pregnancies.
"It'll be a challenge," said Dr. Charles Coddington, chairman of reproductive medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., who is not involved in the Ottossons' case. "It seems like even the animal techniques have not been totally worked out."
In 2000, surgeons in Saudi Arabia attempted to transplant a uterus into a 26-year-old woman. The uterus was removed nearly four months later because of complications.
One of the most challenging parts of the procedure is connecting the tiny blood vessels of the ovary to the newly transplanted uterus, said Coddington.
Coddington said Ottosson's age, and the age of her uterus, would not put her daughter at a higher risk for complications from the transplant. But if Sara Ottosson were to carry the pregnancy to term, it's likely she would undergo a Caesarean section.
"It'll be interesting to see if it can sustain a baby," said Coddington, adding that it's unknown whether the uterus could successfully stretch and deliver enough blood to a fetus.
The Ottosson's are expected to undergo the transplant in spring 2012.
ABC News' Sabina Ghebremedhin contributed to this report.
Jun 15, 2011I wouldn’t wish anything bad on anyone but I hope this doesn’t work. There are a lot of good kids who need a good home and this planet is overpopulated by humans as it is.ellamaya1

Jun 15, 2011As a woman living with this syndrome as well, I wish and pray everyday that there was a way that I could some day carry my own child. I often wonder if it is selfish of me just to want something I know I cannot have. Should I trust in God that it just wasn't meant to be, or should I think that God made us smart enough to develop the technology to make this type of transplant possible? I know that there are many children that are already on this earth that need a loving home so it seems logical to lean toward adoption. On the other hand, people all over the world use "help" to get pregnant all the time and yet that doesn't raise headlines. I completely understand that everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but I just wish that people wouldn't judge this women for trying to become a mother.

To me, this is a touch and go situation.  My sister had Endometriosis and was told she was gonna have to have an emergency hystroectomy soon.  She all but begged me to let her carry a baby for me.  She wanted to get artificially inseminated with Joe's sperm and it would be our baby but I woudn't let her  for several different reasons. One being, she has a very hard time carrying her own babies and there is no way I would have put that strain on her body for myself.  Two, that kind of proceidure was way out of our budget so even if we wanted to we coldn't afford it.  Sometimes, she will bring up that conversation we had and will say we should have done it but I will never regret my decision not to.

I just can't believe it, but yet I should have known!!

I am soo overwhelmed right now.  First of all, I had a pretty rough day today at work.  I have had some problems with my bred venders....SaraLee, Hostess, and Sunbeam being the worse.  Sunbeam has been pusing bread and tearing off the other venders shelf labels.  With it being my responsibility, I have to keep them straight and make sure everything is done right.  Soooo, I have had to "grow some balls", as everyone calls it, and tell them what they are doing wrong.  I got in trouble Friday because I have been letting them slide because I didn't wanna say anything to them, so Saturday, I went and got Laura to tell Sunbeam for me.  He wasn't happy at all.  So, today I "grew some balls", went and had me a talk with all 3 bread members.  I didn't ask anything of them...I TOLD THEM what they were gonna do or else we would go to Chris...The store manager!  2 of the venders were ok with it but Mr. Sunbeam was a little on the pissed side.  lol  I felt better about myself knowing I done the right thing eventhought I made him mad.  The rest of the day was ok.

Next, about 10 minutes b4 leaving work, I found out why one of my BFF's hadn't talked to me much in awhile.  It's because one of my other so called friends thought they would tell a few HUGE blown out lies to her.  UGH!!!  I can't ever win for loosing.  I have been so friend lonely for a month or so lately and she was there to make me feel better and there for me to hang out with.  Now that I know the lies she told on me, I would rather be alone.  No matter what, I know Joseph and my Mama will always be here for me!  Sad you have to find out the hard way about some folks.

After leaving work, I went to see my pawpaw who just got out of the hospital with a fractured hip.  The day he came home from the hospital, my aunt went home and left him all alone and he fell again.  He hit his head on the bathroom door and now has a big knot on it.  Somepeople only think of themselves and NEVER of others.

To conclude this post, I just had to vent!  Since I have nobody to talk to now, this is my go to.  HEHE!  Think I'm gonna make this blog private for awhile where I can say what I want and not have to worry about anyone thinking I'm stupid.

Woke up sick as a dog this morning.  Nausiated and sick to my stomach.  Jealyn went to the DR. yesterday with this same curd.  I sure hope I'm no comming down with the stoamch virus.  Please say a prayer for me.  I start another 6 day work week today with a 12hr shift today.  :((  I can't afford to be sick.
