Jason Aldean ??? Nuff Said. :)

November 19th, 2010, Kayla and I went to the BJCC and saw Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan in concert. It was AWSOME!! :) Them two men are sexy if I do say so myself. HEHE! I wasn't able to get many pics becuuse I only had my iPhone and no camera. Hopefully by Christmas, I will have my Cannon Rebel. :) After viewing the pics, I have put together a biography of Jason Aldean and one of Luke Bryan. I would like to share it with ya. Hope you enjoy.

Biography on Jason Aldean:
Country singer and guitarist Jason Aldean was born in Macon, GA, in 1977. His parents separated when he was three years old, and he spent his childhood with his mother in Macon through the school year while spending the summers with his father in Homestead, FL. He fell early under the spell of country music and made his first public appearance as a singer at a VFW hall in Macon when he was 14 years old. Soon he was a regular at area talent contests, and a year later he joined the house band at Nashville South in Macon. Aldean began pursuing a music career on a full-time basis following his graduation from high school and, with his father as a booking agent, was soon gigging in college towns throughout the Southeast and up and down the Eastern Seaboard. Aldean privately financed an eight-song CD during this period to sell at shows, recording it in Nashville in 1996. Michael Knox spotted Aldean at an Atlanta showcase a year or two later, and signed the singer to a songwriting contract with Warner-Chapell Publishing, which allowed Aldean to move to Nashville in 1998. When a couple of recording deals fell through and his songwriting contract was about to expire, Aldean was on the verge of giving up on the music business when he attracted the attention of the independent label Broken Bow Records, which released his debut album, simply called Jason Aldean, in 2005. Aldean returned to the studio in January 2007 to work on his sophomore release, Relentless. The album, featuring the single "Johnny Cash," hit stores in May.

Biography on Luke Bryan:
Luke Bryan grew up in the very small town of Leesburg, Ga. Back home, he helped his father with his peanut and fertilizer businesses while playing sports and enjoying the great outdoors. Yet he can remember his mother urging him to belt out George Strait songs over and over while she drove him into town to shop. By age 14, his parents bought him an Alvarez guitar. By 15, his father would take him down to a nearby club, Skinner's, where he shared guitar licks and lead vocals with other local country singers.
At age 16, two local songwriters who'd enjoyed some success providing tunes for Nashville artists invited him to join their twice-a-week writing sessions at a local church. By that time, Bryan led his own band, playing at Skinner's and various community events.
Encouraged by everyone who heard him play, Bryan planned to move to Nashville after high school graduation. Supported by his family, he was loading his car for the move when tragedy struck. His older brother Chris, Bryan's biggest supporter and one of his best friends, was killed in an auto accident the day Bryan was to leave town.
He continued to devote himself to music, finding escape and emotional release in its songs. He poured his feelings into his songwriting, and after enrolling in Georgia Southern University, Bryan and his band would perform nearly every weekend on campus or at nearby clubs or parties. He eventually recorded an album of 10 songs, nine of which he'd written.
Despite everyone's encouragement, he stubbornly refused to reconsider moving to Tennessee. After graduation, he went to work for his father's agriculture business. Bryan loved the work, but a year into it, his father forced him to quit the job and move to Nashville. He arrived in Music City on Sept. 1, 2001.
Within two months, he'd signed a publishing deal with a company owned by songwriter Roger Murrah. Bryan spent time honing his material, building up a catalog of songs. Capitol Records will release his debut album in 2006.

It's been 3 1/2 years....

I got several post combined into one here. lol Well, it has been 3 1/2 years since I have had an actual JOB. Yea, I have babysat during that time but it's not quiet the same. I finally got the call for my 2nd intervies and YEAH BABY, got the job. I started November 10th, 2010 and was sooo excited about it. I had like 2 day's of orentation and met some pretty cool coworkers that day aswell. There were 4 others that started the same day as I did. Jennifer started in Deli with me, Christy and Amy went to chashier, and this older lady went to Pharmacy. We had such a good time together. I have worked in the deli for a little over 2 weeks and I have redeveloped a skin infection on my right hand and fingers. I had to call and talk to the store manager about moving me into a new department. It took him a week but I started into my new department today. It's called the Bakery but we don't really have a bakery. It's mainly just stocking, pricing ups and downs, and keeping dates pulled with already made cakes, cookies...etc. I really like it and I hope I do good. My most favorite part of it is I now have a set schedule. I work every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 6-3. Sounds pretty good to me. :)

Montgomery Trip

November 2nd, I went on a fieldtrip to Montgomery with one of my neices to the Governers Mansion and to the Zoo. We had such a blast. We left Berry at 7 am on a charter bus. We got to ride in style.. HEHE!! My Sissy and I took a few pics together, but sadly, this was the best one.

After about a 2 hour drive, we were finally there. Before going to the mansion, we went into the gift shop for a few minutes.

The giftshop was beautiful. I couldn't wait to walk accross the street into the Mansion. It was beautiful. After getting in the gates, we stopped for a little picture of the girls that made the day....

They are soo cute. As we approached the the Mansion, there were two ladies that was planning to line the kids up for a group pic. This made such a great pic.
Berry Elementary 4th Grade Class, November "2010"!!
When we entered the Mansion, I then realized how BEAUTIFUL this place really was. I have several pictures I would love to share with ya from inside the house...

After viewing the inside the house, they took us outside. It was beautiful aswell. The pool amazed me. I didn't know it was shapped like our state of Alabama. AWSOME!!! Can you tell??

The second part of the trip was at the Montgomery Zoo. I will do another post so this one wont be soooo long.

JOBS...

Jobs this day and time are soo hard to come by. Men and women of all ages are being laid off...even without any notice. How do they make it??? I will NEVER know. As you have already read a few blog post ago, I have recently lost my babysitting jobs. I am on the hob prowl. I put my application in weeks ago at a daycare called Childrens Place here in my county. I haven't heard from them so Im guessing they either didn't like my application or either wasn't hiring. Last week I put my application in online at Walmart. It's also in my county. 3 days later, I was called for an interview and I was soo excited. More exciting than that, I was also called today to come back in for my SECOND interview. I was told if you were called back in for the 2nd interview, u more than likely had the job. I am soo beside myself. :) I don't know yet if I actually have it or not but I will in just a few short days. Im hoping and praying to GOD for this miricle. I need to be able to contribute all I can to my wonderful husband whom has worked sooo hard to provide for me all these years. He has been the BEST husband ever and I can't wait to finally have a JOB!!! :)))) I am sooooo excited..
