What about bags instead of baskets???

This year since my neices are getting older, I decided to give them bags filled with goodies instead of a baskets they will never touch again.
I got Jeslyn a zebra bag and had her name embroidered in hot pink.  I bought her a bunch of "REAL" makeup, {Their's a story behind that I will tell later.  HEHE!!}, a diary, and ink pens.  That's what was in the bottom of the bag.  On top of that, I put some pink easter grass to cover it up followed by some eggs filled with candy, gum, and money.  She loved it.  Now with the "REAL" make up story.  I was talking with Jeslyn one day trying to get ideas for stuff for her bag and we came accross makeup.  She said, "KK, I don't like kid makeup anymore.  If you ever decided to get me makeup, please get me adult stuff.  I'm almost an adult now u know.."  She's a mess.  She's FAR from an adult.  She's 10.  Hello.  :))
My beautiful Sissy.  :)

For Hannah's bag, It was pink with monkeys and peace signs. This kid is a freak for peace signs. lol Took it to have her name embroidered in neon yellow. In it, I got her a pair of shorts, a tank top, and matching filp flops for the bottom. It was covered with yellow grass becasue the peace signs and her name were yellow. On top of that were eggs filled with candy, gum, and money. She went to screaming when she saw it. :))
My precious Buggie Bear.  She's one of a kind.  :)  She's always posing for pictures when KK is around.

LOVING her bag.

Bug was ready for her flip flops.  lol  U see Maggie smelling Hannah's outfit.  lol

I had such a great time watching their facial expressions when they were opening all their stuff.   After they opened their bags, we went around back and, of course, posed for some pictures.  I know I go overboard so I will share only a couple this time.
I love love this one.  My fav.

Buggie Sue LOVES Maggie.

And so does Sissy Rose.
I love all 3 of my girls soo much.  Well, tomorrow is Easter day.  4/24/2011.  I will have WAY more pics to share with you then.  I hope you all have a safe and WONDERFUL Easter.

Love always...The Tanners.  :))

Mommy Punkin...

I know I have already told you this, but, I have the best punkin EVER! She is absolutely beautiful.  I love nothing more than to dress her up and take pictures of her.

Frustrated...Irritated!!

Today was our last 'Girls Day"! Thank God! I am soo frustrated and irritated with girls day. For one, we don't do nothing. All we do is sit there and talk about babies...pregnancy..etc. I have nothing to talk about. I'm so sick of it. I just don't know what I would do if I had to suffer another day of it. It would be different if we could talk about something together. No, I am stuck on the other side of the room just having to listen because I haven't been bless with the blessing of pregnancy and motherhood. U know, that's fine, but they wouldn't like it if they were the outcast like I am. I love my friends. They are my best friends but if they were in my shoes they would know how I feel. It's just overwhelming to me. We may have said 20 words between the 3 of us to eachother today. I just don't know what I'm supposed to say. Oh well. It's over now and I'm not starting back girls day when they do. I'm done! :))

Mississippi Organ Recovery Agency Meeting 2011

It finally got here. We look forward to the MORA meeting each year in April. With my brother being a donor, this is our one day a year to celebrate his life and what he chose to do when he was just 16 years old. Last year, April 2010, was a very good meeting but this year's meeting was AMAZING! This is gonna be a pretty long post but It's a good one.

On the way, we stop at the rest stop half way for the smookies to smoke.  lol  While we were stopped, I always have to take a few pics.  :)
Me and Cayla
Mama and Ricky
I like this little monument.

We were then on our way to the Bancorp South Convention Center where the meeting was held.  We got lost and went a few interstate exits to far but we made it just in time.  As we walked in the door, I found this place to be absolutely beautiful!
This is just a big present wrapped because being a donor or donor recipient is the biggest gift of life.

The HUGE balloons.  They were beautiful.  I loved them.

Beautiful decorative flowers in the entry way.

After walking into the conference room, we noticed several boards displaying photos of donors and recipients.  I scanned to see Jay's pics and there were 3.  This is one of the boards full view.

Their is one of Jason's pics.  White shirt with tie and kakhi's.  This picture was taken when he was in the 6th grade.  He was principle in the school play.  :)

Their's Bubba Jay again.  Green and yellow Brooklyn shirt.  I miss that face soo much.  :(  What would I give/do to get to see it one more time.

Side view of the Conference room.  Beautiful..Huh?

again...

This is Jason's slideshow.  I love and miss you baby brother!

Last year, Mother and Ricky both went up and recieved Jason's memorial gift but this year Ricky went alone.

Could you imagine this being the ONLY thing left u get to do for your child?

This is the gift.  It's BEAUTIFUL!  It say's, "May it be said that when the sun sets on your life...You made a difference!!"  BEAUTIFUL saying because there are people living in the world today just because Jason died.  He HAS made more of a difference than u and I will ever know.

When the ceremony was just about over we went outside to let go of the balloons we have wrote notes to or our lost loved ones.

Look at them go.  RIP Bubba Jay!
This is the one from last year.  "April 2010"

This is this years..."April 2011"

Look at the difference in the sky on those two seperate days on two seperate years.  It's amazingly beautiful.  I wish and hope everyone that reads this knows what a blessing it is to have a loved one that was able to make such strong impacts on the lives of others with his passing.  He is and will be missed forever!!!

RIP Jason Allen Sparks

Mommy's BIG girl.

I can't believe Maggie is almost 10 months old. She is getting soo big.   I bought her a few outfits online the other day and just recieved them in the mail.   One of the outfits was this little TuTu.  OMGoodness...I LOVE IT!  At first when I put it on her she didn't know what to think.  She kept trying to eat it.  lol  It's precious but I can see where it might be a little aggravating.

This is our monthly "mommy & me" pic.  LOVE those.

Maggie is always trying to give me kisses.  I do love them, but, they can and do get annoying.  lol
Now this is my BEAUTIFUL PRINCESS...Is this outfit not the cutest thing ever???

The spoiled BRAT!  :)  AKA...Maggie Mae Tanner.

We wen't last weekend and had our pictures made professionally.  OMG..They are sooo good.  I can't wait to get them in cause I can't wait to show them off.  Maggie done soo good.  U would think this man's profession was just with animals because he knew exactly how to make Maggie pay attention.
