IDK how, but I came accross the PCOS Facebook page and decided to browse at it a minute. I read many stories and it was overwhelming to know Im far from the only one with this sickness. On that page, I found this video and I want to show it with my fellow bloggers. Just press play and turn your volume up on your computer.
SAD...
Right now, I have mixed emotions about several things.
1.}I have babysat for over 3 years now and tomorrow is my LAST day. I started out babysitting Blake at 9 months old. I haven't had him now for going on 3 months. I just started keeping Carter back in April, so it's not gonna be as hard not having him everyday. I am soo gonna miss him though.
2.}I really need to retake my History part for my GED. I have passed all of it except that part and it totally sucks. Ive take it 3 times and still I have failed it. Im thinking about going to Bevil and taking a few more history classes for GED and seeing if that works. UGH!!
3.}I really need a job but with no High School Diploma/GED, there is nothing out there. Im just really stressed out about it. WHAT are we gonna do now. STRUGGLE is all I know.

Nausia...
Nausia, to me, is one of the worse symptoms to ever have. I can't stand it. I just wanna crawl in bed, cry, stick my fingers down my throat to make myself throw up....etc.. Yea, I know...GROSS!!! Well, last night right at bedtime, I got soo sick. It's just like it hit me all at once. NAUSIA...UGH!!! I just laid there squirming around on the bed and whinning. All of a sudden Joseph said, "What's wrong baby?" I said,"I'm soo sick..nausiated." He said,"Baby, it will all be worth it when the baby is born..." My heart dropped. I want that more than anything in this world. It would be AWSOME to be able to give Joseph a child of our own but that's just not gonna happen. :(
The reason it's difficult for me to concieve is because I have what is called, Polycysitc Ovarian Syndrom..AKA(PCOS)!! Here are some FACTS about PCOS.
*****What is polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS)?
Polycystic (pah-lee-SIS-tik) ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a health problem that can affect a woman's:
•Menstrual cycle
•Ability to have children
•Hormones
•Heart
•Blood vessels
•Appearance
With PCOS, women typically have:
•High levels of androgens (AN-druh-junz). These are sometimes called male hormones, though females also make them.
•Missed or irregular periods (monthly bleeding)
•Many small cysts (sists) (fluid-filled sacs) in their ovaries
*****How many women have PCOS?
Between 1 in 10 and 1 in 20 women of childbearing age has PCOS. As many as 5 million women in the United States may be affected. It can occur in girls as young as 11 years old.
*****What causes PCOS?
The cause of PCOS is unknown. But most experts think that several factors, including genetics, could play a role. Women with PCOS are more likely to have a mother or sister with PCOS.
A main underlying problem with PCOS is a hormonal imbalance. In women with PCOS, the ovaries make more androgens than normal. Androgens are male hormones that females also make. High levels of these hormones affect the development and release of eggs during ovulation.
Researchers also think insulin may be linked to PCOS. Insulin is a hormone that controls the change of sugar, starches, and other food into energy for the body to use or store. Many women with PCOS have too much insulin in their bodies because they have problems using it. Excess insulin appears to increase production of androgen. High androgen levels can lead to:
•Acne
•Excessive hair growth
•Weight gain
•Problems with ovulation
That sould explain what my husband and I go through on a daily basis. It's soo hard to fathum but it's our life.
*****One of the most common questions in PCOS is, "Why do women with PCOS have trouble with their menstrul cycle and firtility?"
The ovaries, where a woman’s eggs are produced, have tiny fluid-filled sacs called follicles or cysts. As the egg grows, the follicle builds up fluid. When the egg matures, the follicle breaks open, the egg is released, and the egg travels through the fallopian tube to the uterus (womb) for fertilization. This is called ovulation.
In women with PCOS, the ovary doesn't make all of the hormones it needs for an egg to fully mature. The follicles may start to grow and build up fluid but ovulation does not occur. Instead, some follicles may remain as cysts. For these reasons, ovulation does not occur and the hormone progesterone is not made. Without progesterone, a woman's menstrual cycle is irregular or absent. Plus, the ovaries make male hormones, which also prevent ovulation.

*****How is PCOS treated?
Because there is no cure for PCOS, it needs to be managed to prevent problems. Treatment goals are based on your symptoms, whether or not you want to become pregnant, and lowering your chances of getting heart disease and diabetes. Many women will need a combination of treatments to meet these goals. Some treatments for PCOS include:
Lifestyle modification. Many women with PCOS are overweight or obese, which can cause health problems. You can help manage your PCOS by eating healthy and exercising to keep your weight at a healthy level. Healthy eating tips include:
•Limiting processed foods and foods with added sugars
•Adding more whole-grain products, fruits, vegetables, and lean meats to your diet
This helps to lower blood glucose (sugar) levels, improve the body's use of insulin, and normalize hormone levels in your body. Even a 10 percent loss in body weight can restore a normal period and make your cycle more regular.
Birth control pills. For women who don't want to get pregnant, birth control pills can:
•Control menstrual cycles
•Reduce male hormone levels
•Help to clear acne
Keep in mind that the menstrual cycle will become abnormal again if the pill is stopped. Women may also think about taking a pill that only has progesterone (proh-JES-tuh-rohn), like Provera, to control the menstrual cycle and reduce the risk of endometrial cancer (See “Does PCOS put women at risk for other health problems?”). But, progesterone alone does not help reduce acne and hair growth

ROOOLLLL TIIIDDDEEE ROOOLLL
That's right. Joseph and I went to our very first University of Alabama football game on October 16, 2010. It was AMAZING!! We got up EARLY that Saturday morning where we would make sure to get a good parking place for the homecomming parade. We got there way to early. 2 hours early. UGH!! lol That gave us lots of time for pics. I love to take pics of me and my "Sexy" man. HEHE!!
Isn't he a hottie? I sure do think so. lol We sat and talked and just spend quality time together until the parade started. I love watching the band, cheerleaders...ETC.
I was in the band and played clarinet while in High School. It was soo fun. Competition's was my favorite. After the parade was over Joseph and I went and enjoyed some Japanese at Kobe in Midtown Village. That is our favorite place to eat. We can't always afford to go there but this was our day to "splurdge"!
YUMMY YUM YUM!! OUR FOOD WAS SOO GOOD. :) Can't wait to go back to Kobe!!
Finally, it is time to go to the stadium. Joseph and I were sooo excited. We drove and drove. We went from $20 parking, to $30 parking...TO Bam.. $20 parking just 2 blocks from the stadium. YIPPIE!!! We got parked and headed to shop the venders.
After walking around for it seems like FOREVER, we finally are able to go stand in line to get in the stadium. I just had to take pics of the stadium. Cool, HUH??
We saw a bbq stand and decided we would go ahead and eat some supper b4 getting into the stadium.. It was good. After eating, it was then time to go in and find our seats. Joseph and I couldn't wipe the smiles off our faces the whole time. It was AWSOME to actually see the field up close and personal!!
We had such an amazing time. Can't wait to go back and support my football players..

October '2010' @ The Tanner Residence...
Well, Joseph and I have a new found love of our sweet little Maggie Mae. I understand u are probably sick of hearing and seeing pics of her but she is my baby girl. Joseph gives her a bath once a week, mostly on Sunday afternoon. This is a pic of my babies..
Aren't they sweet? They are my babies. Maggie Loves her daddy. IF he is around, she can't keep her eyes off him.
I got me one more sleepy girl. She is a wild girl most of the time but when she is sleepy, she is sleepy. HAHA!! Here are a few pics of her while she is sleeping/just waking up. She is the most sweetest sleepy girl ever. I love to look at her beautiful sleepy eyes. They are the BEST!!!
I know it's crazy, but I LOVE to put clothes on my Maggie. Here are a few pics of her in her new sweater. Isn't it sweet? She also had a matching bear that looks just like her sweater.
October is also the month for HALLOWEEN. I went to a party on,"Mitchell Mountain". It was sooo fun. I had lost my camera cord that charges it so All I had was my Iphone to take pics with. This is the best one I got.

Maggie's 17 Week Old Photo Shoot.
My sweet Maggie Mae just turned 17 weeks old. Mommy gave her her first photo shoot. She didn't really enjoy it as much as I did but she done good. Of course daddy didn't wanna make her mind and do what she was supposed to do. I had to make Joseph get OUT of the kitchen with us so she would listen to mommy.
Maggie was soo sad. Bless her heart, this picture broke mommy's heart so I had to quit.
NCATA Cheerleading Competition "2010"

Little bit of nothing... "2010"
September is a celebration of bdays around here. My b'day is the 9th and Jeslyn's b'day is the 15th. This year, Jeslyn wanted me to take her for a pedicure so off we went. We had some good ole chinese at Lin Garden in Jasper for lunch. That is our favorite place ever. After we were done eating, we headed to the nail salon. Jeslyn knew she wanted zebra but wasn't sure how and what colors. After getting there, we decided on black all over, white and pink stripes, with some glitter thrown in.
Jeslyn waiting on the guy to get started on her feet. She is just like her aunt KK. We both LOVE to get our feet did. HEHE
Working away. Were both so excited for the finished results.
Look at that Zebra print on those toes. That's what my sissy wanted for her B'day from Aunt KK. I hope you had a wonderful Bday sissy! After pedicure time, we had to head out to the ballfield for Jeslyn and Hannah's game. Look what the "FANS" do while supposedly watching the game. HEHE!!
I went to my Mama's for my b'day lunch. I didn't get a pic of me or anything but I did take one of my sweet Maggie Mae playing outside.
I have a few photos from some other times in September I would like to share with ya.
